Completed kitchen remodel in Old Saybrook, CT with white shaker cabinets and quartz countertops

Old Saybrook

Kitchen Remodel

Back to All Projects
Timeline:8 Weeks
Square Footage:320 sq ft
Completed:Spring 2023

Project Overview

This Old Saybrook homeowner came to us with a kitchen that had not been updated since the house was built in 1993. The layout was closed off from the dining area, the cabinets were showing their age, and the laminate countertops were cracked and stained. They wanted a space that felt open, bright, and built for the way their family actually uses the kitchen today.

We started by removing a non-load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room, instantly doubling the sense of space. New custom shaker cabinets with soft-close hardware line two walls, and a 9-foot island with a waterfall quartz countertop provides prep space, casual seating, and hidden storage. We installed a full subway-tile backsplash, under-cabinet LED lighting, and professional-grade stainless steel appliances.

The result is a kitchen that functions as the true center of the home. The homeowner told us it is the first room they want to show guests when they walk through the door.
